If your MetaMask is encountering an error when trying to sign a transaction on Sonic Arcade, go into its settings and turn OFF the “Improved signature requests” option.
Request $S to the same wallet (you may need to wait 5 minutes), add $TOKEN to your wallet using the contract address below, and then send the tokens to your Sonic Arcade’s smart wallet, with which you'll play the games.

Sonic Arcade is a key component of Sonic Labs's incentivized testnet campaign, designed to drive early growth on Sonic by encouraging users to interact with the Sonic testnet by playing various free-to-play games.
This marks the first opportunity for users to earn points for the S token airdrop by playing the games.
Points earned by playing the various free-to-play games available, such as Plinko, Mines, and Wheel, are called Arcade Points.
These points are part of the S token airdrop.
When you connect your wallet to Sonic Arcade, we create a smart contract wallet for you, which you'll use to play the games.
This is an example of account abstraction, a technology that allows a smart contract to function as your wallet, remaining both non-custodial and permissionless. Compared to traditional Web3 wallets like MetaMask, this offers several advantages:
- We can cover your gas fees as the smart contract charges us automatically, so you won't need to hold testnet S tokens to play.
- You won't have to approve transactions every time you play or take an action, as the smart contract wallet does that automatically in the background.
This leads to a faster, smoother experience, highlighting the future of Web3 wallets through account abstraction.
Your “connected wallet” on Sonic Arcade's interface refers to your Web3 wallet, such as MetaMask, while your “smart wallet” is the smart contract wallet managed by your Web3 wallet.
When requesting tokens from the Sonic Faucet, ensure that your smart wallet is set as the recipient, as this is the wallet that will be used to play the games.
To participate on Sonic Arcade, you'll need $TOKEN. Each play costs 1 $TOKEN, and you can claim up to 210 $TOKEN per week from the Sonic Faucet for free.
Please note that $TOKEN has NO monetary value and is only used for gameplay on Sonic Arcade.
